ClimOP officially kicked-off on the 16th of January 2020 in Brussels, Belgium. This EU-funded project aims to identify, assess, refine and propose to aviation stakeholders and policymakers a set of most-promising mitigation strategies to reduce the climate impact of aviation.
The meeting began with an overview of the project activities provided by the coordinator, Deep Blue. Then, INEA presented their expectations about ClimOP results, stakeholders’ consultation and collaboration with similar EU-funded project. Finally, the project partners discussed the upcoming activities.
Since that, ClimOP has already begun identifying a set of KPIs and a list of potential operational improvements. The selected metrics will allow assessing the efficacy of ClimOP results during the whole project span. This activity is driven in close coordination with all the Consortium partners and enriched by stakeholder validation.
